Title: Weekend SEN Nanny / Manny – two positions
Location: TS17 Thornaby
Nearest Tube/Station: Yarm
Wage/Salary: gross per hour
Experience Required: Experience working with children under two and children with physical and learning disabilities. Willingness to travel within the UK and abroad. Desirable: Knowledge of ABI, epilepsy, and Punjabi for communication.
Days & Hours: Saturday and Sunday, flexible to OR style="margin-top: 1px; margin-right: 45px; margin-left: 45px;"

About Adam (9): Adam lives at home with his family. He is active, loving, and enjoys swimming, walks, school, bowling, music, and dancing. He has Cerebral Palsy, global developmental delay, and epilepsy, which is controlled. Adam can walk short distances with support and uses a buggy. He has delayed speech and understanding.

Role Overview: We are recruiting two weekend Family Support Workers to assist Adam and his family. Support includes helping Adam with daily routines, therapies, activities, outings, and occasional help with the family and housework. The role involves full assistance with dressing, toileting, feeding, and supporting therapies and outings. Occasional family gatherings are expected.

Candidate Profile: A driver with experience working with children with disabilities, understanding family environments, and willing to support the whole family. Flexibility for family holidays and staff leave is beneficial.
