Overview

Trusts manager. Contracted to our Peterborough office with the flexibility for hybrid working. Salary £35,000 - £39,000 FTE depending on experience. Full time (37.5 hours) or part-time considered (minimum 30 hours per week).

Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented trusts manager who will be responsible for implementing the trusts strategy, with a focus on significantly growing and diversifying income from new and existing trusts and foundations that can support our next five-year strategy. You will play a key role in developing and sustaining relationships, maintaining an up-to-date pipeline and submitting compelling applications, reports and updates. You will manage a portfolio of partners alongside prospecting new opportunities. You will have a passion for cultivating relationships and going above and beyond to develop lasting meaningful relationships with supporters.

You will operate with a hybrid, flexible working style and regular weekly office attendance is encouraged. The role is contracted to our Peterborough office. You will also be required to regularly attend external meetings and events.

  • ANNUAL LEAVE: All full time employees start with paid bank holidays plus another 25 days holiday, increasing with every year of service to a maximum of 30. Pro rata for part time. Option to “sell” up to one-week annual leave in a pre-set window prior to the start of the holiday year.
  • PENSION: The charity makes a generous contribution of 6% to a group pension plan. Employee contribution minimum 2% to meet current pension regulations. Enrolment on joining the charity.
  • PARENTAL LEAVE: Compliance with maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave.
  • SICK PAY: Charity sickness benefit after three months’ service: 2 weeks full pay, 2 weeks half pay in rolling 52 weeks. After one year: 4 weeks full pay/4 weeks half pay; after two years: 8 weeks full pay/8 weeks half pay.
  • DEATH IN SERVICE: Covers all employees after three months’ service; four times salary. Valid up to 65th birthday or state pension age, whichever is greater.
  • EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAMME: Confidential support, advice or counselling.
  • BIKE LOAN SCHEME: Interest-free loan to purchase a bicycle for travel or events.
  • CYCLE2WORK SCHEME: Tax-efficient salary-sacrifice for bicycle purchase over 12 months.
