Job description

This is an exciting time to join TCV and lead our newly created team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, confident individual — someone who wants to make a difference and is always willing to go the extra mile and lead by example.

Working directly with your team and the wider income generation team, you will be responsible for setting and implementing our strategic plan aligned to securing income through Trusts, Foundations, and Lotteries. You will identify and develop funding proposals to partners and stakeholders outside our corporate partnership team.

With your team, you will develop innovative ideas and compelling proposals to enable TCV to connect more people to green spaces, focusing on:

  • Environment/nature
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Learning and Skills

You will be responsible for developing and executing this new approach for TCV, with the ambition to secure national or multi-regional funding to connect more people to green spaces.

Ideally, you will have experience in the charity sector, leading a team to secure an annual income exceeding £1m across various funding streams. You should be confident in setting ambitious goals and high standards, capable of leading and supporting your team to achieve them. You will have ultimate responsibility for identifying and creating a pipeline of funding streams to meet our income targets.

As the lead for the TFL team, you must effectively communicate our case for support to your team and stakeholders, ensuring proposals are compelling, well thought out, and deliver value and impact. You should be skilled in writing funding applications and able to critique and support your team’s applications.

If you're seeking your next senior role in the charity sector and believe you have the experience and drive to succeed, please get in touch.

You will lead a team with big ambitions for 2025 and beyond!

The role may require travel and overnight stays occasionally.

A full, clean or near-clean UK driving licence held for at least one year is required for this post.

To fulfill this role, you must be resident in the UK and have the right to work here.
