Trusts & Estates Tax Associate Director

The National Private Assurance - Trusts & Estates team manages all tax aspects of approximately 750 UK and offshore trust and estate clients.

A look into the role

As an Associate Director in our team, you will:

  1. Have experience managing clients with a key skill of reviewing complex trust tax returns and accounts prepared by the team.
  2. Optimize team resource delivery and manage your own time effectively, helping team members meet deadlines.
  3. Delegate tasks and develop junior team members.
  4. Take responsibility for running the compliance process, including process improvements and implementing Grant Thornton's digital agenda.
Knowing you’re right for us

The minimum criteria for joining us as an Associate Director within the Trusts team include experience in managing and advising on Trusts. Additional skills that are advantageous include:

  1. Experience managing and advising on estates; knowledge of IHT reporting is also beneficial.
  2. Ambition to grow the advisory part of the business; advisory experience is advantageous but not essential, as support will be provided.
  3. Opportunities to engage in the wider Private tax practice.
