Job summary

St Bartholomew CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Trust-wide School Improvement Partner (Assistant Headteacher) to join our Central School Improvement Team. Based across Wolverhampton, Stafford, or Walsall, the role focuses on raising standards through evidence-informed strategies and collaboration with school leaders.

The successful candidate will lead professional development, support curriculum design, audit provision, and help shape Trust-wide approaches to improve teaching and learning

Responsibilities

• Raise standards in quality-first teaching through coaching, planning support and modelling best practice.
• Support school leaders in curriculum design, implementation and evaluation.
• Audit provision, identify strengths and priorities, and contribute to improvement planning.
• Develop leadership capacity across the Trust through support to middle and subject leaders.
• Design, deliver and evaluate high-quality professional development for staff.
• Research and implement evidence-informed initiatives across multiple schools.
