Job summary

Howells Consulting Ltd. in Cambridge is seeking a Trust Manager to oversee a portfolio of high-net-worth trusts and estates. You will be client- and third-party facing, requiring excellent communication and relationship management.

Technically, you will prepare and review trust accounts and returns, with involvement in ad hoc trust planning projects. There is scope for personal tax advice for HNW individuals and families, in a hybrid working setup from Cambridge.

Job description

An opportunity for a Trust Manager to join one of Cambridge’s most respected Private Client teams.

You’ll perform very much a client and third-party facing role, overseeing a portfolio of HNW trusts and estates. This will require excellent communication and relationship management skills.

On the technical side, you’ll prepare and review trust accounts and trust returns, as well as assisting the partners with ad hoc trust planning projects. There is also scope to undertake personal tax advice for HNW individuals and their families.

Based in Cambridge, the team generally works from home two days a week and the firm always encouraged a healthy work/life balance amongst its staff.

Scope exists to progress towards Senior Manager grade, in a genuinely supportive environment. Salary will be dependent on experience but is likely to be in the region £60k – £70k + bens. Ref 737
