Job Title: Trust & Tax Assistant – Private Wealth
Location: Manchester (Hybrid – up to 2 days remote)
Hours: Full-Time | 35 Hours per Week

Overview:
A well-established and supportive Private Wealth team in Manchester is looking to recruit a Trust & Tax Assistant to support its growing practice. This is an ideal opportunity for a detail-driven administrator with an interest in trusts, estates, and tax work to develop their career in a highly respected legal environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Liaising with clients, accountants, and investment managers to support trust and estate matters. Assisting with the preparation of trust accounts and returns for inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and income tax. Handling payments and capital/income distributions. Preparing documentation for trustee meetings, including drafting meeting minutes. Supporting the management of case deadlines, billing, and client updates. Assisting in the drafting and review of investment policy statements. Maintaining professional standards in all client communications.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong administrative skills and a genuine interest in private wealth, trusts, or estate work. Prior experience in a private client setting or exposure to trust/estate administration is desirable. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication, time management, and organisational skills. Proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to take ownership of tasks. Familiarity with CCH or similar tax software is an advantage, though training will be provided.
