Job Description:

Our client, a leading offshore law firm, is currently recruiting for an Associate to join its Trust & Private Wealth team, with a focus on pensions. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a prestigious and highly regarded practice advising on complex pension-related matters across multiple jurisdictions.

This position is suited to a solicitor with 2–4 years’ PQE, qualified in a Commonwealth jurisdiction, and with a strong background in pensions law. The successful candidate will support the firm’s pensions practice across both Guernsey and Jersey, with flexibility to be based in either location. Key responsibilities include advising trustees, pension providers, and employers on pensions regulation and legislative issues, assisting with scheme drafting and amendments, and providing pensions input on corporate transactions and due diligence exercises. Travel between islands will be required as part of the role.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge, strong drafting skills, and the confidence to work directly with clients. Superior academic credentials and top-quality training are essential, along with a personable and proactive approach.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in either Guernsey or Jersey, offering high-quality work, career progression, and the chance to contribute to one of the leading offshore private wealth teams. Should this role be of interest, please do not hesitate to contact either Teddie or Cameron for an initial and confidential discussion. (Assignment 17510)
