G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Trust Manager to join its Trust Advisory and Compliance team in Perth. You will manage a diverse portfolio of trusts, provide day-to-day administration, and advise on regulatory compliance and taxation.

The role blends client relationship management with team leadership, offering scope to influence service development and career progression within a supportive, collaborative Scottish firm.

Qualifications

• Experience running a trust portfolio, including complex or high-value trusts.
• Sound knowledge of trust law, Income Tax, IHT and CGT.
• Discretion and empathy in handling sensitive client matters.
• Willingness to develop junior colleagues.
• Progress towards STEP or ATT qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of trusts, advising on day-to-day administration, regulatory compliance and trust accounts.
• Advise on establishing and winding up trusts and maintain accurate records.
• Act as key contact for clients and beneficiaries; organise trustee meetings; liaise with intermediaries and the Private Client team.

Trust Manager - Perth

An experienced Trust Manager is sought by a leading Scottish law firm to join its Trust Advisory and Compliance team in Perth. The role offers the chance to take the lead on a varied portfolio of trusts, with genuine scope to influence how the firm's trust services develop.

You'll combine technical work, client relationships and team leadership, with the support and flexibility to progress your career over the long term.

The role

You'll manage your own portfolio of trusts, providing advice on day-to-day administration, regulatory compliance, taxation and trust accounts. You'll also advise on establishing and winding up trusts and maintain accurate records throughout.

Acting as a key contact for clients and beneficiaries, you'll organise and conduct trustee meetings, work alongside intermediaries and the wider Private Client team, and help develop junior colleagues.

About you

This role would suit a Trust Manager who:

• Has experience running a trust portfolio, ideally including complex or high-value trusts
• Has sound technical knowledge of trust law, Income Tax, IHT and CGT
• Handles sensitive client matters with discretion and empathy
• Enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting others
• Holds, or is working towards, STEP or ATT qualification (desirable, not essential)
