Job description
Overview

Laurus Trust is looking for an experienced and committed individual to join the IT team as a Trust IT Manager based at a school that fits with your commute. You will lead a small team of Technicians and IT Team Leaders to support and service the IT function across 6 secondary and 3 primary schools, and contribute to the strategic development and maintenance of the Trust IT provision.

Responsibilities
  • Support the IT Director with monitoring, development, maintenance and delivery of a responsive, effective and compliant IT provision across the Trust for all stakeholders.
  • Manage a team of IT Technicians and IT Team Leaders to ensure high-quality service across all schools in the Trust.
  • Ensure that legal and contractual obligations relating to IT resources, systems and services are met.
Qualifications
  • Sound educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • Proven experience of maintaining and supporting PC, server and networking equipment.
  • Strong understanding of computer networks and operating systems, usage and equipment configuration including Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Windows Server 2016-2022, Windows 10/11 and macOS.
