A healthcare trust in Devon and Torbay is seeking a Trust grade Doctor for their Neurophysiology department. The role involves supporting the team in managing increasing patient workloads and performing various diagnostic procedures. University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust (UHPNT) wishes to appoint a Trust grade Doctor to support our Neurophysiology scientists and help meet the increasing in- and out-patient workload, contributing to the development of a forward-thinking and ambitious department. These are replacement substantive posts to support the current establishment.
The post is based on a whole-time appointment of 10 PAs. Trust policy bases job plans on 8.5 DCC and 1.5 SPA, with up to one further SPA possible during the job plan review process, depending on departmental and/or care group needs. The average maximum weekly programmed activities for direct clinical care will not exceed 8.5 PA unless by prior mutual agreement.

The Neurophysiology department is part of the wider Medicine Care Group, within the Cluster of Neurology & Stroke, Neurophysiology and Neuropsychology. Services provided include diagnostic testing for adults and children in the following conditions:
