What skills and experience we're looking for


We are seeking to appoint a highly capable and experienced Executive Assistant to provide comprehensive and strategic support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of our Trust. This is a pivotal role requiring exceptional organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, as well as a high degree of discretion and professionalism.


The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO to ensure the effective coordination of their responsibilities, enabling them to focus on strategic leadership and the delivery of the Trust’s mission.


The role will involve regular travel across our schools.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide high-level administrative and operational support to the CEO, including diary management, correspondence, meeting preparation, and travel arrangements.
  2. Act as a key liaison between the CEO and internal and external stakeholders, including governance bodies and the Department for Education.
  3. Draft, proofread, and manage communications on behalf of the CEO and Board, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  4. Coordinate and monitor projects and initiatives led by the CEO, ensuring timely follow-up and delivery.
  5. Support the CEO in maintaining oversight of Trust performance, including the collation and presentation of key data and reports.
  6. Facilitate the CEO’s external commitments and partnerships, including voluntary and advisory roles.
  7. Lead and manage a dispersed administrative team, promoting a culture of high performance and collaboration.
