  • GMC registration and relevant experience in internal medicine and haemato/oncology.

Job description

We have exciting opportunities in the Department of Oncology and the Department of Haematology at Trust Grade ST1/ST2 level (SHO equivalent).

Positions Available
  1. Up to 8 posts in Oncology
  2. Up to 4 posts in Haematology
  3. 1 post in Palliative Care (no on-call commitments)

Start date: 6 August 2025, for a period of one year. Posts will involve on-call commitments, except for the Palliative Care position.

Salary: Basic salary plus London Weighting.

Application Preferences

Applicants should specify their preferred post, as rotation across all areas is not possible.

Training and Support

Post holders will have access to the same education and training opportunities as trainees, including study leave benefits. They will be part of a supportive multidisciplinary team in our renowned oncology, palliative care, and haematology services.

Candidate Requirements
  • Core competencies of Foundation Year Two
  • GMC registration with a license to practice
  • Relevant experience in internal medicine and haemato/oncology
  • Good team working skills
  • Excellent command of English
  • All FY2 competencies achieved, including history taking, examination, diagnosis, clinical decision-making, safe prescribing, and medical record-keeping
