We are pleased to offer this exciting opportunity for a full-time Junior Doctor ST1/2 (equivalent to CT1/2 level) to join the Head and Neck Surgical specialties. The post is expected to commence in August 2025 on a 12-month contract, with a possibility of extension.
While advertised as Trust Junior Doctor ST1/2 posts for Head & Neck, we welcome applicants interested in more specific roles in Maxillofacial Surgery or ENT Surgery, depending on individual interests and training needs.
The post holder will provide care for patients in Head and Neck, Maxillofacial, and ENT specialties. The rota offers the opportunity to gain significant Head and Neck Cancer experience, including reconstructive free flap surgery (around eight major cases per month), facial trauma, and aesthetic facial surgery.
Applicants will be encouraged to participate in teaching, research, audit, and service improvement projects within UCL, tailored to individual development needs and service requirements.
The on-call rota is a full-shift system covering Maxillofacial and ENT admissions, with all eight Trust junior doctors participating.
