Whipps Cross University Hospital, part of the Barts Health NHS Trust Group, is seeking a motivated Trust Grade doctor at ST1-2 level to work in Acute Medicine and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) on a 1-year fixed-term contract.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain clinical experience in Acute Medicine, rotating through the busy and diverse acute assessment unit (AAU) and SDEC, including evening and weekend shifts on an acute medicine rota. Participation in quality improvement initiatives is also expected.
The ideal candidate will have full GMC registration and have completed Foundation competencies (or equivalent). This position is suitable for an enthusiastic doctor seeking focused training in acute medicine.
Based at Whipps Cross Hospital, part of the Barts Health NHS Trust, the role involves joining our Acute Medical team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with potential for extension. The hospital serves a population with a high level of frailty and provides exposure to a wide range of pathologies.
