Overview

TRUST DOCTOR AT REGISTRAR LEVEL BREAST AND GENERAL SURGERY

The closing date is 09 October 2025

The Breast unit has 5 consultants who perform oncoplastic/ reconstruction surgery including flaps. There is a high output of screening and symptomatic work. The rate of day case surgery is high meaning ward work is kept to a minimum. The unit is well supported by GP with specialist interest, 4 radiologists (and one consultant radiographer), staff grades, F1/CT trainees and national fellow.

The General Surgical team consists of 6 Upper GI Consultant surgeons and 12 Colorectal Surgeons who are integrated into the Emergency General Surgery rota.
