Job summary

An educational trust is seeking a Trust Data Assistant to help with data processing and Power BI dashboard development. This part-time position offers flexible working arrangements and requires a strong educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English. The candidate will also assist with Bromcom software and support data administration across schools. Minimum work requirement is 37 weeks annual.

Qualifications

  • Sound educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent.
  • Formal qualification in data analytics or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Power BI.

Job description
Overview

We are seeking an organised and conscientious Trust Data Assistant to join our team at The Laurus Trust. This position is contracted for up to 32 hours per week (hours/days are negotiable) on a term-time only basis. You will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 37 out of 52 weeks. Travel to schools within our Trust may be required. This role supports processing internal and external school data to enable detailed analysis and assists with the administration and maintenance of student data across school systems.

Closing date: Monday 13th October at 9am. We reserve the right to interview prior to the closing date.

Responsibilities
  • To assist in the development of Power BI dashboards for statistical analysis.
  • Promote the use of the Bromcom software, including MCAS, Student Portal and Teacher App, and ensure that it is being used effectively.
  • Assist with processing student data and supporting administration across school systems; travel to Trust schools as required.
Qualifications
  • Sound educational background including GCSEs in Maths and English (A-C) or equivalent.
  • Formal qualification in data analytics or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of Power BI.
