Team Interaction:Collaborate with teams from Private Property, Tax, Trusts, and Succession across the UK and internationally. We pride ourselves on delivering personalized services and building lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage your own client portfolios.
- Address and resolve tax planning and succession issues.
- Manage relationships with grant-making and applicant charities.
- Prepare and submit trust accounts and tax returns, including inheritance tax returns.
- Calculate trustees liabilities for IHT, CGT, and Income Tax.
- Attend and document trustees meetings.
- Handle payments and distributions from trusts.
- Conduct investment reviews and monitor portfolio performance.
- Interpret and review trust deeds with team input.
- Keep managers and partners informed on progress and assist with billing.
- Manage a substantial and varied workload efficiently.
- Supervise and guide junior team members.
- Comply with all relevant regulatory obligations, including SRA Standards and Regulations.
Ideal Candidate Profile:- Strong Accounts experience.
- STEP qualification is an advantage but not required.
- Proficient in computerized accounts and tax software.
- Strong team collaboration and mentoring skills.
- Good judgment and understanding of clients needs.
- Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Excellent at building rapport with clients.
- Proficient in IT, including MS Office.
- An interest in Trusts or learning about Trusts.
