Job Description
Develop and manage a pipeline of trust, foundation, and statutory funding opportunities over £10k. Write compelling funding proposals and personal statements tailored to funders' priorities. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior funders and internal stakeholders, especially policy and public affairs teams. Collaborate closely with campaign teams to align fundraising with strategic advocacy goals. Monitor and report on funding progress and impact, ensuring compliance with funder requirements. Represent the organisation confidently at meetings and presentations with funders. Contribute to the development and delivery of fundraising strategies and plans. Support internal teams in understanding the importance of trusts and foundations funding.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate is an experienced trusts and foundations fundraiser with a proven track record of securing grants over £50k, ideally multi-year funding. They are strategic, confident engaging with senior stakeholders, and bring a strong understanding of how campaigning and policy-driven work differs from service delivery. Politically aware and values-led, they're comfortable navigating internal relationships, particularly with public affairs and policy teams, and thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
