Role scope

The Trust Administrator works across the Shared Services team, with priorities that change throughout the year. Our shared services function span across Businesses Services including People and HR, Estates, Governance and Compliance, Data and IT Services as well as Marketing and Communications. We also have a centralised Finance and Education Standards team.

  • Provide administrative support to Shared Services functions such as HR, finance, estates and governance

  • Prepare documents, reports and presentations, and maintain accurate records and data

  • Arrange meetings, take minutes and follow up actions

  • Support processes such as purchasing, contracts, compliance and data returns

  • Act as a point of contact for schools, answering queries and directing them to the right team

Office and team support

  • Manage shared inboxes, phone enquiries and diaries

  • Maintain filing, records management and data protection standards

  • Support projects across the Trust as priorities change

  • Help improve administrative processes and make good use of digital tools

Impact

The role supports the smooth running of the Trust and how it presents itself to its community:

  • Recruitment benefits from well-presented adverts and campaigns that reach the right candidates

  • Processes become simpler and more consistent through better use of systems and shared practice

Together, this helps the Trust's schools focus on teaching and learning.

Personal qualities
