A leading water utility firm in London seeks a Trunk Sewer Technician to maintain and operate the sewer network and its assets. Responsibilities include conducting maintenance and fault-finding tasks in challenging environments. The ideal candidate should have mechanical experience, be physically fit, and possess a valid UK driving license. Competitive salary from £27,465 to £34,200 per year, along with benefits like holiday and pension scheme.
Day to day, you will be maintaining and operating the sewer network and its associated assets, carrying out basic mechanical maintenance and fault finding. The work involves confined space access and working in some of London’s most challenging subterranean areas.
Base location: Hammersmith (PS), W6 9RS
Working hours: 38 hours/week, Monday – Friday, 6:30 am – 3:45 pm; with 1 week out of 5 on night shift from 9:00 pm - 5:30 am; includes standby rota with additional pay.
