Job summary

KION Group AG operates a paint shop that prepares and finishes trucks for refurbishment. The role focuses on ensuring compliant health and safety practices, maintaining stock of painting materials, and upholding high standards of finish for all trucks moving through the paint process.

You will manage PPE, keep the paint bay clean and safe, monitor compressors, filters, and daily startup/shutdown checks, and plan work to minimise downtime, supporting efficient workshop operations and quality

Qualifications

• Health and safety compliance is essential and must be observed in all tasks.
• Maintain a high standard of preparation and finish for trucks through the paint process.
• Keep an adequate stock of paint, solvents and preparation materials and reorder as needed to ensure continuity of work.

Responsibilities

• Comply with Health and Safety initiatives in all aspects of the role.
• Work to a high standard for preparation and finish of trucks before/after paint.
• Maintain stock of paint, solvents and materials and reorder to ensure continuous workflow.
• Manage PPE storage and protection of equipment when not in use.
• Keep paint bay clean and safe with proper housekeeping.
• Check compressor oil levels and operation of pressure regulators daily.
• Maintain and change extract filters per schedule.
• Carry out startup and shutdown checks daily.
• Report air leaks promptly.
• Plan work to minimise non-productive time.
