Here's your challenge:

Within the Business, Digital & Tech department, the Tribe Brands mission is to enhance the digital experience of our brand websites, offering a booking and stay experience that stands out from other channels.

The Tribe manages digital experiences for over 10 brands, including iconic names like Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, and Ibis, aiming to increase revenue and enrich local & augmented hospitality experiences.

The strategy focuses on:

  • Providing premium, intuitive, immersive user journeys that promote hotel services and upsell
  • Implementing a mobile-first approach for a simplified experience
  • Delivering cross-brand personalized digital experiences with tailored offers and services

Your role:

  • Collaborate with the Product Director to define quarterly roadmaps, drive the Tribe's OKRs, and manage capacity and budgets.
  • Ensure high performance and quality in product delivery.
  • Establish and promote engineering standards (security, architecture, quality, performance) and foster engineering excellence.
  • Contribute to the Tribe backlog with technical items.
  • Empower Feature Teams to achieve the tribe’s goals and key metrics.
  • Identify risks and drive risk analysis for strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a servant leader, resolving issues swiftly and removing obstacles.
  • Engage with FT leaders regularly to align and support autonomous team delivery.

  • CMS & DAM: Adobe AEM Sites & Assets
  • HTML/CSS, Responsive design, Less & Sass preprocessing
  • JavaScript (Vue.js), JSON, REST API
  • Tools: Git, Gitlab CI, Gulp, Webpack, Jest

Qualifications


And you?

  • Proven experience leading engineering teams, mentoring, and developing talent.
  • Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with CMS & DAM platforms, understanding templates, components, and authoring principles.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (a plus).
  • Extensive knowledge of digital web ecosystems and best practices (SEO, A/B testing, accessibility, analytics, performance).
  • Experience working with third-party providers, including offshore teams.
  • Proactive, passionate about design and problem-solving.
  • Comfortable working under tight deadlines.
  • Willing to learn and grow continuously.
  • Fluent in French and professional English (spoken & written).
