Job summary

MBDA UK in Bristol seeks a Trials Lead to drive the planning, execution and safety oversight of weapons testing programmes. You will lead trials across on-site and off-site deployments, develop test hardware, define testing requirements and write safety documentation to ensure mission success.

Working within the Sparkworks RF Directed Energy Weapons and Low Observability team, you will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, manage risks, and ensure compliance with BPSS/DV processes.

Qualifications

• IoT and electronics design experience preferred.
• Understanding of trials processes and safety management.
• Familiarity with verification and validation practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead trials from planning through conduct, ensuring safety.
• Develop test hardware, write planning and safety docs, report results.
• Coordinate on-site and off-site deployments and maintain testing capability.
