About The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with good interpersonal skills to work with the DIRECT team at the Centre for Bone & Joint Health, Blizard Institute. Working in a dedicated trial team, you will support the Senior Trials Manager and the Trials Manager. This is an interesting and varied role with various tasks to meet important study milestones while following clinical trial regulations and PCTU processes. We seek someone who aspires to excellence, shares our values, and will play a crucial role in our ongoing achievements.

About You

You will have previous administration experience gained within either a research setting, NHS, or higher education establishment. You should be a team player with a strong work ethic and sense of accountability while supporting the team. An eye for detail, initiative, and the ability to work flexibly to tight deadlines in changing and challenging circumstances are essential. Additionally, you must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills across a wide range of colleagues, as you will be part of a busy clinical trials environment. Previous experience in the clinical trials environment is desirable but not essential.

About The Institute

The Blizard Institute was established in 2003 and is one of six Institutes within the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, QMUL. The Institute comprises approximately 360 staff based in four academic Centers and one Public Engagement Centre, supporting a combined total of around 700 postgraduate research and taught students. The Institute aims to deliver excellence in all aspects of research, teaching, and clinical service.
