Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Research Support Assistant to support the Mouth Matters in Mental Health trial. The post starts February 2027 and will lead recruitment and data collection, liaising with clinical teams, meeting potential participants and conducting assessments under supervision.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of quantitative research designs including clinical trial designs with recruitment and retention targets.
• Competent in data collection and quantitative analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead on recruitment and data collection for the Mouth Matters in Mental Health trial.
• Liaise with clinical teams, meet potential participants, conduct clinical assessments (e.g. interviews, self-report measures) and manage data.
