A great opportunity has arisen with a forward-thinking GP Surgery in Stockton-on-Tees, looking for either a Nurse Practitioner or Prescribing Paramedic to get involved in the triage on a part-time basis on a Wednesday and Thursday. This is typically mostly done over the phone working through a list to help direct patients to the right clinician/service. There is scope to pick up a third day which would be more clinical appointments but the main focus is the two days of full triage. They need someone with Primary Care experience who has done triage previously. It is a forward-thinking, highly regarded practice with a superb reputation among patients.

Minimum Requirement: You will need to be a prescriber with Primary Care experience!

Salary: £50,000 - £53,000 per annum FTE DOE + NHS pension + 6 weeks Annual Leave pro rata + Bank Holidays + 1 week study + Indemnity

Location: Stockton-on-Tees

The surgery:

Your role:

1. Nurse Practitioner or Prescribing Paramedic for 2 days (Wednesday and Thursday)
2. Triaging role, working through a list, mostly done over the phone to direct patients on the list to the right clinician or service
3. Option to pick up 1 clinical day in addition to this seeing acute, on the day presentations
4. Prescribing a minimum requirement
5. Work alongside other Nurses and Allied Health professionals
6. Opportunities to develop as a clinician
7. Work to 15-minute appointments for clinical work

1. Salary up to £53,000 FTE DOE (£27.17 per hour)
2. NHS pension
3. 6 week Annual Leave + Bank Holidays pro rata
4. 1 week study pro rata
