Qualifications

• Must hold NMC pin and have UK midwifery experience.
• Experience in inpatient and community maternity settings.
• Willingness to work on-call and support homebirths.

Responsibilities

• Assess presenting symptoms and undertake maternal/fetal observations.
• Prioritize care using BSOTS and clinical urgency, arranging investigations as needed.
• Provide advice, reassurance and timely referrals to obstetric or multidisciplinary teams.
• Support effective patient flow, safe decision-making and accurate documentation within the maternity pathway.
