FASHION PERSONNEL is seeking a trend-led assistant designer based in Greater London to support in designing across denim and casual woven ranges, stepping into a junior role and collaborating with the head of department and senior designer on showroom ranges and customer high fashion accounts.

You will research market trends, learn about fabric innovations, create CADs and technical packs, and communicate with teams in the UK and Asia to hit deadlines.

Qualifications

• Trend-led assistant designer with an interest in denim and casual wovens.
• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training and briefs.
• Ability to create CADs and technical packs for development.

Responsibilities

• Research the market and analyze trends to inform designs.
• Create on-trend yet commercial designs in response to briefs.
• Produce accurate CADs and technical packs for development.
• Present to buyers and coordinate with UK and Asia teams.
• Oversee sampling and ensure deadlines are met.
