Job summary

TRP RECRUITMENT is seeking a trend-led Girlswear / Teenwear Woven Designer for a leading fashion supplier in London. The role targets designers with experience in older girls, teen or youth markets, or womenswear with a youthful handwriting and strong understanding of the young customer.

You will work in a fast-paced, creative environment, developing commercial woven and jersey collections for UK retailers and supermarkets, translating TikTok-influenced trends into fresh, market-ready product.

Qualifications

• Experience designing for older girls, teen or youth markets.
• Experience across multi-product categories in fashion supply or retail.
• Strong understanding of youth fashion trends and social media influences.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop trend-led woven collections for older girls, teen and youth markets.
• Research seasonal trends, youth culture and TikTok influences for commercially relevant products.
• Develop concepts, mood boards, color palettes, fabrics and product ranges for customer briefs.
• Create CADs, design packs and technical specs for sampling/production.
• Incorporate handwriting-inspired graphics and embroidery details with cultural influences.
• Collaborate with Design Manager, buyers and team to meet customer requirements and deadlines.
• Present design concepts to internal teams and customers.
• Coordinate with overseas factories and suppliers during development.
• Monitor competitors and market trends impacting the teen/youth customer.
