Job summary

TRP Recruitment Limited is seeking an Apparel Graphic Designer in London to join a fashion business's creative team. You’ll develop original, trend-led graphics for T-shirts and licensed products, taking concepts from idea to production-ready artwork.

The role requires strong typography, illustration, and color skills, plus hands-on knowledge of garment decoration techniques including print, embroidery, transfers and appliqué. Hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Apparel/Fashion Graphic Designer or similar role.
• Portfolio showing commercial fashion graphics and garment design experience.
• Advanced skills in Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of apparel printing and decoration techniques (screen print, transfers, embroidery, appliqué).

Responsibilities

• Create trend-led graphics for apparel including T-shirts and licensed products.
• Research fashion, graphic and cultural trends to inform designs.
• Develop concepts for print, embroidery, appliqué, transfers and embellishment techniques.
• Produce production-ready artwork and technical files for factories/suppliers.
• Collaborate with factories during sampling and approval to meet standards.
• Create typography, illustration and placement graphics for various customers/products.
• Ensure artwork meets copyright, licensing and production requirements.
• Review samples and provide feedback on colour, scale and technique.
• Work with design, product and commercial teams to meet deadlines.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and AI-assisted tools in the design process.
