Job Title: Tree Surgeon/Grounds Person

At the Mick George Group, we are seeking a dedicated Tree Surgeon/Grounds Person to join our team of professionals committed to excellence. We encourage motivated individuals to apply and become a vital part of our high-achieving team.

Responsibilities:

1. Undertake all aspects of tree work, including tree felling, stump grinding, and hedge trimming.
2. Spend approximately 60% of your time pruning, maintaining, and planting new trees.
3. Perform grounds maintenance duties, covering soil cultivation, grass cutting, planting trees/shrubs, bed preparation, seasonal bedding, pruning, tree surgery, and snow clearance.
4. Ensure health and safety procedures are followed to protect yourself, colleagues, and others.
5. Handle the safe use, storage, calibration, and disposal of pesticides and similar substances.
6. Perform any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Manual handling ability.
• Experience in commercial grounds maintenance.
• Chainsaw qualifications CS30, 31, 38, 39.
