Job description

Tree Maintenance Operatives
Shift Times: 07:30-16:00 Monday - Friday

Pay Rate: 15ph
Location: Warwick, CV34 6RA


This is a 3 month Fixed Term Contract with the potential to be extended.
Overtime will be available and paid at x1.5.

Manpower are looking Tree Maintenance Operatives to work for our client based out of Warwick. Working in this role you will be responsible for a range of activities such as; Clearance of epicormic growth from street trees, removing unwanted shoots and/ or branches using appropriate tools & extendable silky saw, while preserving the tree's overall health and structure. You will need to ensure a safe working environment is always maintained and carry out day to day maintenance and safety checks on all equipment as well as Carefully removing & disposing the green waste created.
The training offered includes on-the-job training and standard induction for best practice.

To succeed, you will need:

  • To be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Hold a full valid UK Driving License
  • Safety conscious mindset is key.
  • Experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Willingness to learn & open to training.
  • Capable of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools (e.g. strimmer's, backpack blowers, extendable silky saw etc.)
