Job summary

Trump Turnberry - Spa is seeking a Treatment Manager to lead the Treatment Department while maintaining an active treatment role in the Spa. You will work three days per week in Treatments and two days as Duty Manager, guiding the Therapy Team to deliver exceptional guest care, high standards of treatment delivery and strong commercial performance.

Responsibilities include stock management, driving retail performance, coordinating with Spa Management and Head Therapist to ensure smooth operation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ spa treatment experience desirable.
• Experience as a Senior/Head Therapist or spa supervisor is desirable.
• Strong personal management and organisational skills.
• Motivate, support and develop a team effectively.
• Strong commercial awareness with interest in driving treatment and retail performance.
• Ability to manage stock, ordering and operations.

Treatment Manager

The Treatment Manager is responsible for supporting the Spa Management team in the day-to-day management and performance of the Treatment Department, whilst maintaining an active treatment role within the Spa. Working three days per week within Treatments and two days per week undertaking Duty Manager responsibilities, the Treatment Manager will provide leadership, direction and support to the Therapy Team, ensuring consistently high standards of guest service, treatment delivery, cleanliness, professionalism and commercial performance. A key focus of the role will be driving treatment and retail performance, effective stock management and developing a commercially focused and motivated Therapy Team. The Treatment Manager will work closely with the Spa Management team and Head Therapist to ensure the continued smooth running and success of the Treatment Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Take day-to-day responsibility for the smooth running and performance of the Treatment Department, working closely with the Spa Management team and Head Therapist.
• Maintain an active treatment role within the Spa for a minimum of three days per week, with additional treatment days as required to support business needs, staffing levels and guest demand.
• Provide leadership, direction and support to the Therapy Team, ensuring consistently high standards of treatment delivery and guest care.
• Work closely with the Head Therapist to support the training and development of the Therapy Team and provide cover when required.
• Ensure the Treatment Department is adequately staffed and work closely with Reception and Spa Management to maximise treatment availability and revenue opportunities.
• Take a lead role in driving retail performance within the Treatment Department, motivating the Therapy Team to achieve individual and departmental retail targets.
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback, complaints and operational issues professionally and appropriately.
• Ensure treatment rooms and treatment areas are maintained to the required standards of presentation, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Undertake Duty Manager responsibilities for two days per week, or as required by the business.
• Support Reception, Pool & Gym, Spa Café and Treatment operations where required.

CANDIDATE SPECIFICATION

• Must be eligible to live and work within the UK.
• Must be able to demonstrate a professional manner at all times, particularly concerning interactions with guests and fellow associates.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience performing treatments within a Spa environment is desirable.
• Previous experience as a Senior Therapist, Head Therapist, Spa Supervisor or similar leadership role is desirable.
• Must have strong personal management and organisational skills.
• Ability to motivate, support and develop a team effectively.
• Strong commercial awareness with a genuine interest in driving treatment and retail performance.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage stock, ordering and operational responsibilities effectively.
• HND-level Beauty Therapy or equivalent is essential.
• Natura Bisse training is desirable.
