Job summary

Anglo American is seeking a Treasury Consultant to reinforce our Group Treasury function. You will provide specialist treasury expertise across Treasury Management Systems, controls and reporting, driving efficiency and governance in a large multinational environment.

You will partner with Treasury Front Office, Operations and technology teams, lead and deliver TMS projects, and embed sustainable treasury process improvements while ensuring compliance with internal controls and policy.

Qualifications

• Significant corporate treasury experience in a large multinational.
• Experience implementing, enhancing or managing Treasury Management Systems.
• Hands-on experience with FIS Quantum and/or other Treasury Management Systems such as Kyriba, Reval, IT2 or equivalent.
• Proven project management experience delivering treasury transformation or technology-enabled initiatives.
• Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash and liquidity management, financial risk management, treasury controls and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key subject matter expert for Treasury Management Systems with knowledge of a range of treasury technology products including FIS Quantum.
• Provide specialist guidance on Treasury Management System capabilities, configuration, controls, accounting set-up, data management and reporting in line with leading practices.
• Lead treasury projects and coordinate governance materials, risks, dependencies, actions and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate activities across Treasury, Finance, Technology teams, vendors and implementation partners.
• Support business requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, implementation and post-implementation review activities.
• Ensure project delivery is aligned to objectives, governance requirements and operational controls.
• Support Treasury transformation initiatives leveraging technology to improve efficiency and governance.
