About the role

The Treasury Technology team will be based across India and UK, as part of a wider Finance systems engineering team. You will join the UK team to focus on enhancing the treasury system, working alongside the strategic solution of Findur. The India team will maintain and operate the current solutions.

In this role, you will work independently on engineering and service tasks. You should have knowledge of specific systems and domains, managing configuration and support processes for your area of expertise. Your responsibilities include delivering quality solutions and services that save time, effort, or money, and demonstrating expertise in the systems and applications used within Tesco. You should also stay updated on the latest technology trends and market changes.

You will be responsible for

  • Leading key system projects, including major system and infrastructure upgrades and change programs
  • Serving as a subject matter expert for the Treasury system and interfaces, ensuring all requirements are considered during projects
  • Proposing solutions for infrastructure and applications
  • Providing configuration and functional expertise in designing Treasury solutions within Treasury Management System
  • Ensuring projects impacting Treasury systems are properly tested, validated, and simulated
  • Managing change requests, including requirements, solutions, testing, and deployment following Tesco's processes
  • Utilizing tools like Git-HUB and Jira
  • Understanding project methodologies such as Agile and Scrum
  • Supporting various teams with Findur issues and system analysis
  • Maintaining documentation for system architecture and troubleshooting
  • Monitoring EoD processes and scheduled jobs

You will need

  • Knowledge of Openlink Findur/Endur Treasury Management System (TMS), with experience in Findur being a significant advantage
  • Hands-on experience with financial instruments like Cash, FX, Bonds, and Loans
  • Experience with Openlink Findur modules such as Trading Explorer, Referential Data, Market Manager, etc.
  • Experience in large system projects like upgrades and new modules
  • Ability to analyze, debug, and resolve system issues
  • Understanding of system architecture layers
  • Skills in customizing Openlink Findur using AVS, JVS, and MS SQL Server
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
  • Ability to understand business requirements and prepare functional documents
  • Opportunities to streamline treasury processes using Treasury systems
  • Experience with tools like Eclipse and MSSQL Server
