Join the Close Brothers Treasury Team, working closely with the Treasury front office. You will be responsible for controlling and reporting on their transactions, managing daily control processes such as Daily risk and limit reporting, price verification, and profit and loss reporting.

Responsibilities

Daily Risk Reporting

• Prepare and distribute Treasury’s daily Interest Rate Risk report, monitor EVE & EAR limits, explain movements, report breaches, and verify trades.
• Prepare and distribute daily Liquidity Reports, analyzing and verifying daily movements.
• Monitor and report Credit limits and changes in credit ratings daily.
• Monitor and report Fx Limits daily.

Monthly Responsibilities

• Maintain the Treasury Finance derivative portfolio, including valuation checks and reconciliations.
• Maintain Treasury Finance Security portfolios with monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare daily P&L reports, explain movements, and reconcile with financial statements.
• Assist in monthly closing processes, ensuring controls are effective and variances are explained.

Quarterly / Semi-Annual Responsibilities

• Provide information for financial statements, explaining movements.
• Assist in completing audits.
• Provide data for quarterly FINREP returns.

Hedge Accounting

• Collaborate with Hedge accountants to cover month-end hedge accounting processes if needed.

Risk & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to governance and compliance standards and complete all required reporting for regulatory bodies.

Candidate Profile
