We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our Treasury team, where you will learn and gain in depth knowledge into treasury and how this department plays a key role within the business.

The Role

Supporting Treasury operations at Toyota Financial Services UK in two key areas:

  • Delivery of Back Office responsibilities. The Back Office function within the department supports the overall operation via fulfilment of administration requirements for executed trading, and through monitoring and completion of any applicable internal controls.
  • Delivery of the organisation’s monthly Asset Backed Securitisation (ABS) reporting obligations, including any necessary bank, investor or regulatory reporting.
Following training and development

your role will include:

  • Reconciliation of Treasury bank accounts
  • Processing deal confirmations
  • Processing deal confirmations for TFSUK or other subsidiaries of TFSC as requested
  • Daily payments
  • Month-end reporting for the Treasury department
  • Assisting with Audit requirements (both internal and external)
  • Maintenance and development of procedures
  • Dispute resolution

Asset Backed Securitisation (ABS):

  • Administer the sale and repurchase of receivables as requested into ABS facilities
  • Create and complete monthly ABS reconciliations as required
  • Produce the monthly investor reporting for ABS facilities
  • Produce the monthly regulatory reporting for ABS facilities
  • Provide internal reporting to monitor performance of ABS facilities
  • Assist with ensuring the ABS process is Sarbannes Oxley (SOX) compliant and compliant with all other internal audit requirements
  • Support the administration of external audit requirements relating to ABS facilities
  • Assist with the implementation of future ABS facilities, as requested
  • Assist with business testing of ABS infrastructure, as requested
Key Experience & Skills
  • Evidence of strong academics up to A level (as a minimum).
  • Proficiencies in Microsoft Office software, particularly in Excel.
  • Experience of working in a busy, high volume corporate Treasury or bank back-office function.
  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems.
  • A basic understanding of Finance & Economics.
