Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group is recruiting for a well-established, fast-moving organisation in Scunthorpe seeking an experienced Treasury Manager to join its Finance function.

The role oversees day-to-day treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, payments processing, and trade finance activities, while maintaining robust controls and regulatory compliance. A hands-on leader, you will collaborate with internal teams and banking partners to optimise liquidity and risk management.

Qualifications

• Finance or accounting qualification, ACT qualified preferred.
• Hands-on treasury operations and cash management experience.
• Strong liquidity, funding and hedging knowledge.
• Excellent Excel and MS Office; SAP experience desirable.
• Strong communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash operations to ensure optimal liquidity and effective use of funds.
• Monitor and update short-term cash flow forecasts.
• Oversee execution and settlement of payments (including SAP and manual transactions).
• Support the management of trade finance instruments (letters of credit, guarantees, bonds, etc.).
• Reconcile treasury-related accounts, intercompany loans, and financial instruments.
• Maintain productive banking relationships and oversee account administration and KYC.
• Ensure compliance with internal treasury policies and external regulations.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of treasury processes, controls, and risk management frameworks.
• Prepare management reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
• Support treasury-related audits and ad hoc projects.

This is a key position within a lean and dynamic team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day treasury operations and ensuring robust cash, liquidity, and risk management.

The successful candidate will play a hands-on role managing cash flow, payments, and trade finance activities, while maintaining strong financial controls and compliance standards. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external banking partners.

Key responsibilities will include: -

• Manage daily cash operations to ensure optimal liquidity and effective use of funds.

  The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences: -

• Finance or accounting qualification, ideally ACT qualified but Part Qualified will also be considered (Including ACCA, CIMA)

• Hands-on experience in treasury operations, reconciliations, and cash management.

• Strong understanding of liquidity, funding, and hedging principles.

• Excellent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office. SAP experience would be desirable.

• Strong communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Self-motivated and proactive with a collaborative, positive approach.

• Reliable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
