Trace | Expert Accountancy & Finance Recruitment partners with a global investment manager to appoint a Group Treasury Manager in Central London. The role reports to the Finance Director in a high-visibility environment.

Group Treasury Manager | Private Equity | £85,000 - £100,000 | Central London | 4 days in

A leading international investment manager is seeking a Group Treasury Manager to play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing its global treasury function.

This is a high profile position within a growing business that manages investments across infrastructure, private markets and sustainable growth sectors. Reporting to FD, you will have the opportunity to shape treasury strategy, strengthen governance and controls, and influence key funding and liquidity decisions across an international group.

The Opportunity

Leading the Treasury function, you will manage 1 member of staff. You will be actively partnering with leadership to help form their decision making and actively involved in the deals the team are making. If you’re looking to move into a broad, commercially focused position where you can combine strategic treasury leadership with hands on operational oversight.

You will take ownership of treasury governance, liquidity management, funding activities, banking relationships and treasury reporting, while helping to build a scalable treasury framework capable of supporting continued business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of a scalable, best in class treasury function
  • Design and maintain treasury policies covering liquidity, investments, foreign exchange, counterparty risk and governance
  • Manage funding facilities, financing solutions and assess hedging requirements
  • Drive process improvement, automation and enhancements
  • Develop robust cash flow forecasting and liquidity management, including relationships with banks
  • Monitor cash positions and investment opportunities
  • Produce scenario analyses covering acquisitions, refinancing, capital distributions and stressed liquidity situations
  • Monitor liquidity, foreign exchange, counterparty and operational risks
  • Develop treasury risk metrics and governance processes
  • Lead stress testing exercises and continuous improvement initiatives
About You

You are a motivated treasury professional who combines strong technical expertise with commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.

You are likely to have:

  • ACA, ACT, ACCA or CIM qualification
  • Treasury management experience gained within a corporate, financial services, investment management or multi entity group environment
  • Strong cash flow forecasting and liquidity management expertise
  • Experience producing treasury reporting for senior executives
  • Knowledge of treasury controls, governance frameworks and banking operations
  • Experience working with treasury systems and banking platforms
  • Broad remit covering treasury strategy, funding, liquidity and governance
