Job summary

Hyra, a dynamic building society, seeks a Treasury Manager in the North West for a hybrid role. You’ll own the ALCO pack, partner with the Treasurer on front-office activities, and present to senior committees and the Board.

This is a Certified role with a clear path to impact on liquidity, funding and risk management. You’ll lead forecasting, hedging analysis, and regulatory stress testing, while keeping policies up to date and possibly line-managing a Treasury Analyst.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Treasury/ALM or finance; consulting/audit backgrounds welcome.
• Strong financial modelling and Excel proficiency.
• Ability to turn complex Treasury/ALM data into clear insights and present to senior committees.
• Knowledge of LCR, ICAAP, ILAAP or stress testing is a plus.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CertBALM/AMCT qualification is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate the monthly ALCO pack with commentary to support decisions.
• Produce weekly Treasury and economic dashboards for management committees and participate in pricing committee.
• Lead asset and liability forecasting, model the balance sheet and regulatory ratios.
• Oversee liquidity stress testing and behavioural modelling of retail deposits for ILAAP.
• Support the hedging strategy with weekly analysis and place deals across investments and funding.
• Review the monthly LCR return and lead the annual review of regulatory assumptions.
• Keep Treasury risk policy and limits current with ALMIS, Bloomberg and FP&A.
• Line manage a Treasury Analyst or stay as a specialist.

Treasury Manager - North West, hybrid (around 2 office days a month) c.£70,000 + 10% bonus + benefits Permanent An ambitious building society with a five-year plan to nearly double its balance sheet wants a Treasury Manager. You'll own the ALCO pack, share front-office dealing with the Treasurer and present to senior committees and the Board. This is a Certified role.

What you'll do

• Prepare and coordinate the monthly ALCO pack, with commentary that supports decisions
• Produce weekly Treasury and economic dashboards for management committees, and sit on the product pricing committee
• Lead asset and liability forecasting, modelling the balance sheet and regulatory ratios across the corporate plan
• Oversee liquidity stress testing and behavioural modelling of retail deposits for ILAAP
• Support the hedging strategy with weekly analysis, and place deals across investments, wholesale funding and swaps
• Review the monthly LCR return and lead the annual review of regulatory assumptions
• Keep the Treasury risk policy and prudential limits current, working with ALMIS, Bloomberg and FP&A
• Line manage a new Treasury Analyst if you'd like to, or stay a specialist with no reports

What you'll bring

• 5+ years in Treasury, ALM or finance. Treasury experience is preferred, and consultancy, audit or Big Four backgrounds are welcome
• Strong financial modelling and Excel
• The ability to turn complex Treasury and ALM data into clear insight, and confidence presenting it
• Knowledge of LCR, ICAAP, ILAAP, IRRBB or stress testing is a plus
• An ACA/ACCA/CIMA or CertBALM/AMCT qualification is a plus but not essential

You don't need to tick every box. Covering about half the remit is fine, and the rest will be trained.
