Job summary

Newbury Building Society is seeking an analytically minded Treasury Analyst - ALM to join our Treasury Team. You will provide insightful analysis, support Treasury reporting, and help monitor and manage interest rate and balance sheet risks.

You will work closely with the Head of Treasury and CFO to influence key Treasury activities that contribute to the Society's long-term success. The salary offered is dependent on evidence of key competencies; the Society recruits for potential and offers

Qualifications

• Analytically minded Treasury Analyst - ALM with strong analytical skills.
• Experience in ALM, treasury reporting, and risk monitoring is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide insightful analysis and contribute to Treasury reporting.
• Monitor and manage interest rate and balance sheet risks and support process improvements.

Job description

Hours

Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm (35 hours per week)

Interview

90-minute competency-based interview held in Newbury head office.

We aim to interview successful applicants within 10 working days.

We are looking for an analytically minded Treasury Analyst - ALM to join our Treasury Team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing asset and liability risks, supporting strategic decision-making, and ensuring the Society operates within its risk appetite and regulatory requirements.

Working closely with the Head of Treasury and Chief Financial Officer, you will provide insightful analysis, contribute to Treasury reporting, and help monitor and manage interest rate and balance sheet risks. You will also have the opportunity to support process improvements and influence key Treasury activities that contribute to the Society's long-term success.
