EIC (Experience Internship Canada) is seeking an International Treasury Intern for Multi-Currency Management & FX in London. You will support cash flow monitoring for international activities, examining currency needs, conversion costs and the impact of exchange rate changes on forecasts.

Qualifications

• Must be studying finance, treasury, economics or international business.
• Familiarity with cash flows, exchange rates and currency risk basics.
• Comfortable with Excel and handling financial data.

Responsibilities

• Cash positions: update balances and transactions across different currencies.
• Forecasting: prepare cash forecasts by currency using expected receipts and payments.
• Reconciliation: check transaction consistency and document discrepancies.
• FX analysis: track exchange rate movements and measure identified exposures.
• Costs: compare transfer and conversion charges to inform operational decisions.
• Scenarios: simulate the impact of exchange rate changes on budgets and cash flows.
• Payments: prepare information and checks needed for internal approvals.
• Reporting: produce summaries and document multi-currency monitoring procedures.
