Job summary

EIC (Experience Internship Canada) in London is seeking motivated candidates for a Financial & Investment Analyst Intern – Investment & Strategy. You will contribute to financial analysis of projects and development opportunities and prepare models and summaries to inform investment decisions.

You will work in an international professional environment that values collaboration, initiative and learning through practical work.

Qualifications

• You are studying finance, economics, accounting or a quantitative discipline.
• Foundation in financial statement analysis, valuation and investment analysis.
• You are comfortable with Excel and can explain a model’s assumptions.
• You are curious, rigorous and able to produce evidence-based summaries.
• You are comfortable communicating in English; French is an asset for collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Research: collect economic and financial information relevant to the projects under review.
• Statement analysis: examine revenue, costs, margins and cash flows.
• Modeling: contribute to forecasting models and scenario comparisons.
• Investment analysis: assess funding requirements and expected returns under supervision.
• Valuation: support comparable-company and discounted cash flow approaches where relevant.
• Risks: identify sensitive assumptions and assess their effects on results.
• Reporting: prepare analytical memos and presentations for internal discussions.
• Monitoring: compare results with assumptions and update decision-support tools.
