Job summary

Car Benefit Solutions is seeking a Funding Associate to join the Treasury Team and manage end-to-end funding processes from drawdown to settlement across our funders. The role sits in a department focused on commercial treasury, tax compliance and client risk, enabling value and reducing exposure.

The package includes hybrid working and a role that supports process improvement within a growing company. DBS checks are part of pre-employment screening.

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSEs at Grade B+ or higher.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Self-starter with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Flexible and adaptable in a growing business.

Responsibilities

• Allocate, prepare and send drawdown schedules in line with Treasury requirements.
• Request and monitor utilisation of funder facilities in line with growth forecasts.
• Request daily & weekly finance settlements, reconcile discrepancies.
• Respond to general queries including dual interest and clearance requests.
• Reconcile purchase ledgers for funding partners and investigate aged items.
• Assist with funder audits as required.
• Post Drawdown & Settlement uploads into the system accurately.
• Update and maintain system data as appropriate.
• Support Funding Coordinator to ensure smooth month-end closure.
• Create and maintain documentation for all processes and look for smarter ways of working.
