Carter Jonas is seeking an ACCA/CIMA accountant who will manage financial transactions with a focus on treasury, supporting reporting for client portfolios. The role emphasizes hands-on cash management, reconciliations, and timely payments within a collaborative partnership culture in the Birmingham area.

The successful candidate will bring experience in bank reconciliations, possess strong Excel skills, and be part-qualified or newly qualified, ready to advance in a supportive, flexible

Qualifications

• Experience in bank reconciliations and cash transaction processing.
• Ability to work in a busy finance environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Property experience is preferred but not essential.
• Professional manner with excellent customer service.
• Good commercial awareness and collaboration with other departments.
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of clients’ financial transactions.
• Perform regular reconciliations of client funds.
• Create payment runs in line with contract rules and deadlines.
• Allocate cash received from tenants.
• Respond to queries and manage shared inboxes.
• Prepare monthly contract accounts and reports.
• Prepare funding requests and reconciliations.
