Centre People Appointments seeks a Treasury & Financial Specialist to support treasury operations, financial management, and accounting systems. The role bridges finance and IT, investigating issues, improving processes, and translating requirements into system solutions.

The successful candidate will help develop and sell the company’s financial management system, including requirements definitions, product demonstrations, and customer-facing activities.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of practical experience in finance and accounting.
• Experience using financial management or accounting systems.
• Knowledge or experience in cash management, foreign exchange, trade finance, lending, and fund transfers.
• Knowledge or experience in netting, cash pooling, or treasury operations.
• Experience coordinating with finance teams and end users.
• Proactive and able to identify and resolve issues independently.
• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support treasury activities including cash management, foreign exchange, trade finance, lending, fund transfers, netting, and cash pooling.
• Handle day-to-day financial operations as part of the finance team.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline finance processes.
• Act as a bridge between finance users and IT stakeholders, clarifying business requirements and system issues.
• Act as the first point of contact for enquiries relating to financial management and accounting systems.
• Investigate system issues and errors, gathering information and carrying out initial analysis.
• Coordinate with internal system support teams, IT teams, and external vendors to resolve issues.
• Liaise with banks and their IT departments regarding system and data integration.
• Provide feedback to finance users and follow issues through to resolution.
• Use knowledge gained from daily operations and system support to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify potential enhancements and additional functions for the company’s financial management system.
• Work with development and maintenance teams to translate finance requirements into system functions.
• Support sales activities for the company’s financial management system.
• Provide product explanations and demonstrations to customers.

A Japanese company is currently recruiting a Treasury & Financial Specialist to support treasury and financial operations, as well as financial management and accounting systems.

The role combines hands‑on treasury and finance operations with user support for financial systems. You will act as a bridge between finance teams and IT stakeholders, helping investigate system issues, improve business processes, and translate finance requirements into system solutions.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to support the development and sales of the company’s financial management system, including requirements definition, product demonstrations, and customer-facing activities.

Main Responsibilities

Treasury & Finance Operations

• Support treasury activities including cash management, foreign exchange, trade finance, lending, fund transfers, netting, and cash pooling

Ideal Candidate

Conditions

• Location: London
• Working Style: hybrid (2 days in the office / 3 days from home)
• Job Type: permanent or fixed-term contract
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00-17:00
• Start: January 2027 ideally, although an earlier start in 2026 may be possible
