Job summary

JAC Recruitment (UK) Ltd. is seeking a Business Consultant with strong Treasury Operations and Treasury Systems experience in London. The role combines treasury-day activities with system enhancements, working with IT, banks and vendors to optimize Treasury Stream and related processes.

The position offers hybrid working with two days in the office and up to three days remote, with a salary of £45,000–£55,000 and visa sponsorship possible after joining. January 2027 start target.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Treasury or Finance Operations.
• Experience in a corporate treasury function.
• Knowledge of Cash Management, FX, Trade Finance, Treasury Operations, Loans & Funding, Payment Processes.
• Experience using Treasury Management Systems or Finance Systems.
• Business-level English; strong stakeholder management and communication.
• Japanese language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support business users across Cash Management, FX, Trade Finance, Loans & Funding, Payments, Netting, Cash Pooling and Treasury Operations.
• Provide first-line support for Treasury Management Systems; troubleshoot issues and liaise with IT, vendors and banks.
• Gather and document business requirements; coordinate resolution of system-related incidents; support enhancements and upgrades.
• Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes and propose enhancements to Treasury Stream functionality.
• Define business requirements for new features; work with development and support teams; support treasury digital transformation initiatives.
• Deliver product demonstrations in English; assist client workshops; support pre-sales activities; communicate requirements to prospective clients.

Working Arrangement: Hybrid Working

Higher salaries may be considered for exceptional candidates.

About the role

We are seeking a Business Consultant with strong Treasury Operations experience to support treasury activities and treasury system improvements for a major European corporate group.

This role is ideal for someone who has worked within a corporate treasury function and would like to broaden their career into treasury technology, business systems, and process improvement.

You will work closely with treasury professionals, business users, IT teams, banks, and system vendors to support and enhance a Treasury Management System (Treasury Stream).

In addition to supporting day-to-day treasury activities, you will contribute to system enhancement initiatives, business process improvements, and client‑facing product demonstrations as part of the company's Treasury solution growth strategy.

Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of treasury processes and help optimize day‑to‑day operations.

Treasury Systems Support

• Provide first‑line support for Treasury Management Systems (TMS)

• Investigate and troubleshoot user issues

• Liaise with IT teams, vendors, and banking partners

• Gather and document business requirements

• Coordinate resolution of system‑related incidents

• Support system enhancements and upgrades

Process Improvement & System Enhancement

• Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes

• Propose enhancements to Treasury Stream functionality

• Define business requirements for new features

• Work closely with development and support teams

• Support treasury digital transformation initiatives

Pre-Sales & Product Support

As the treasury solution business expands, you may also:

• Deliver product demonstrations in English

• Assist with client workshops

• Support pre‑sales activities

• Help communicate business requirements to prospective clients

• Demonstrate Treasury Stream capabilities and best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of Treasury or Finance Operations experience

• Experience working within a corporate treasury function

• Strong knowledge of:
