Job summary

Action for Children is seeking a permanent Senior Finance professional to lead financial accounting, statutory reporting and cash management. You will advise the CFO and help shape investment strategy and policies.

You will manage a team, ensure accurate financial accounts, and work with external auditors to deliver timely year-end reporting. The role requires CCAB qualification and strong financial leadership capabilities within the charity sector.

Qualifications

• CCAB qualification or equivalent with significant post qualification experience.
• Experience with financial accounting functions and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to financial accounting and statutory reporting functions.
• Advise CFO and ensure policies, standards and practices are adopted across the organisation.
• Lead development and implementation of finance policies and procedures.
• Manage annual statutory accounts preparation and external audit coordination.
