Job summary

UPS is offering a 13-month Treasury Finance Industrial Placement for undergraduates in the UK. You will support the Global Treasury team with credit rating analysis, capital structure reviews, and cash monitoring while gaining real-world finance experience.

Ideal candidates are in their second year of a Finance/Accounting/Economics degree, possess strong numerical and Excel skills, and are eager to learn and contribute to cross-functional projects using digital tools like Microsoft Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Perform credit rating analysis for international UPS entities and maintain Treasury databases.
• Support capital structure reviews, funding business cases, and intercompany financing activities.
• Monitor cash positions, update KPI dashboards, and assist with financial reporting and analysis.
• Collaborate with Finance, Tax, Legal, and Accounting on Treasury-related projects.
• Prepare materials and present findings in Credit Committee meetings.
• Maintain controls, records, and documentation for audit purposes.
• Support Treasury administration and contribute to ad hoc projects.
• Utilise Microsoft Copilot Premium and other digital tools to identify efficiencies and improve processes.

What You’ll Do

As a Treasury Finance Industrial Placement Analyst, you’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting the Global Treasury team at UPS. Your responsibilities will include:
